SHARM El SHEIKH- Kuwaiti Minister of Information and Minister of State for Youth Affairs Sheikh Salman Sabah Salem Al-Humoud Al-Sabah met with his Egyptian counterpart Khaled Abdulaziz in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt, and discussed means of promoting joint Arab action in the fields of youth and sports.
The meeting was held, Saturday night, on the sideline of the 37th meeting of the Arab Youth and Sports Ministers Council and 57th session of its Executive Office, which will kick off later, Sunday(May 4th,2014).
Sheikh Salman lauded the Arab League and its secretariat for ongoing support to youth endeavors in many sports events.
On his part, the Egyptian minister said that his country is working on writing up new regulations on sports, pointing out that Kuwait has one of the best existing sports laws.
Governor of Southern Sinai Khaled Fouda, also present at the meeting, meanwhile stressed on cooperation with Kuwait in this realm through exchange of visits and expertise, especially after the opening of a sports city in Sharm El-Sheikh by the Egyptian president.
The meeting was attended by Kuwaiti permanent delegate to Arab League Ambassador Aziz Rahim Al-Daihani and other senior officials.-KUNA
