The event was inaugurated by Arif Al Awani, Secretary General of the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, and Humaid Al Dhaheri, Managing Director and Group CEO of ADNEC Group. Organized in collaboration between ADNEC Group and Abu Dhabi Sports Council, AASS transforms the summer season into a platform for community health, physical activity, and entertainment.
Spanning more than 6,500 square meters, the indoor venue features 11 sports across 15 courts and fitness zones, including football, basketball, padel, badminton, tennis, and action cricket. Visitors of all ages can enjoy daily access from 6 a.m. to 1 a.m., with opportunities for team competitions, free play, and training sessions.
“We are proud to partner with ADNEC Group to launch the second edition of Al Ain Summer Sports, reinforcing our vision of promoting active lifestyles and strong community ties,” said Arif Al Awani.
“This event delivers world-class facilities and a variety of programs that inspire fitness, particularly during the summer months,” he added.
Humaid Al Dhaheri emphasized the event’s inclusivity and alignment with the UAE’s ‘Year of Community’ initiative:
“We’ve designed this platform to be accessible and engaging for families and individuals of all ages and fitness levels. It supports the national vision of inclusivity and active living.”
This year’s edition includes professional coaching workshops, fitness challenges, and specialised sports training, led by certified experts. Participants can also enjoy healthy food trucks, round-the-clock secure parking, and group packages for families and companies.
Al Masaood Automobiles, the authorised Nissan dealer in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, and Al Dhafra, returns as the official automotive sponsor, reinforcing its commitment to promoting youth fitness and community health.
