SCCI delegation visits Sharjah’s newest shopping destination – City Centre Al Zahia

Sharjah, March 10, 2021: A delegation of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SCCI) headed by H.E Abdullah Sultan Al Owais, Chairman of the Sharjah Chamber recently visited Sharjah’s newest shopping destination – City Centre Al Zahia.

The delegation included H.E Waleed Abdul Rahman Bu Khatir, SCCI Second Vice Chairman, H.E Ziyad Khairallah Al-Hajji and H.E Mohammed Ali bin Kamel, members of the Chamber Board of Directors, H.E Mohammed Ahmed Amin Al Awadi, Director General of the SCCI, Hamad Al Lawati, Chairman of the Representative Committee of Shopping Malls Business Group, Ibrahim Rashid Al Jarwan, Director, SCCI Economic Relations and Marketing, and Jamal Bu Zinjal, Head of SCCI Media Department.

The delegation was received by Fuad Mansoor Sharaf, Managing Director, Majid Al Futtaim Properties, Shopping Malls (UAE, Bahrain & Oman), and Mohammed Al Rayes, Senior Director, City Center Al Zahia, who accompanied the guests in a tour across the Centre facilities and briefed them on the recreational and shopping services provided by the 136,200-sqm Centre.

Lauding the project as a qualitative addition to Sharjah’s retail sector, Abdullah Sultan Al Owais underlined that this is a testament to the constant development witnessed by the Emirate of Sharjah as one of the most significant destinations across the region in embracing cutting-edge trends that fulfill the needs of its population.

“Despite the challenging times we live in, the mission accomplished by opening the largest mall in the Northern Emirates, something that clearly reflects the resolve, commitment, and optimistic spirit of Sharjah and its determination to continue the march of economic development,” he added.

Praising the SCCI’s constant support to the Shopping Centres Sector, Fuad Mansoor Sharaf stressed that City Centre Al Zahia offers visitors a unique and wonderful shopping experience via a large and diverse number of retail stores, recreational activities, and amenities, noting that the Centre provides a mix of more than 360 premium regional and international brands, making City Centre Al Zahia a landmark destination for the residents of Sharjah and the Northern Emirates in the UAE.
