RIYADH– The Saudi Ministry of Health, in cooperation with Riyadh Exhibitions Company (REC) and Informa Life Science Exhibitions, yesterday(May 5th) held a press conference to reveal latest details on the Saudi Health Exhibition & Conference 2014, the largest healthcare event in Saudi Arabia which will take place from May 19 to 21, 2014 at Riyadh International Convention & Exhibition Center (RICEC).
The move is part of the Ministry’s commitment to support the organizer’s vision of “Exhibition with Education” to promote the event’s role in making a positive change to the development of the local healthcare industry while raising the bar on human competences and enabling them to optimally combat existing industry challenges.
Al-Mazroa added that the event provides a new gateway to draw foreign investment into the local healthcare industry, allowing the local market the opportunity to leverage high-level expertise of foreign companies to enhance the healthcare services offered to the local population. Furthermore, Al-Mazroa stressed Saudi Health’s role in promoting partnerships between the Ministry and foreign countries in terms of healthcare services through exchanging expertise and knowledge about the best practices and the latest products, technologies and international trends in the healthcare industry, which is poised to contribute to developing the Saudi healthcare industry.
On behalf of the organizing entities, Fahad Al-Athel, Deputy General Manager of REC, expressed their utmost thanks and gratitude to the Saudi Ministry of Health for its ongoing support and contributions to the Saudi Health Exhibition & Conference which is seeing a remarkable 30 per cent growth. Al-Athel also commended the Ministry for conducting the press conference and thanked all supporters, sponsors and participants for their pivotal role in making the event a great success.

The Saudi Health Exhibition and Conference 2014 will feature more than 300 industry-related companies, regional and international healthcare service providers, agents, suppliers and distributors from 35 countries around the world, in addition to 10,000 professionals who will be exploring the latest healthcare products, technologies and services offered by various healthcare specialists and medical service providers.
The sqm 7,500 event will feature 10 conferences accredited by Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS), discussing important topics related to the local and regional healthcare sector, including Nursing, Hospital Management, Medical Laboratories, Biomedical Engineering, Cardiology, Radiology Technical Management, Nuclear Medicine, Rehabilitation, Future of Healthcare Sector in Saudi Arabia and the Future of Radiology in Saudi Arabia.
