MANAMA- The Royal Charity Organisation (RCO) is to build two investment towers whose proceeds will benefit orphans and widows. RCO Secretary-General Dr. Mustapha Al-Sayyed signed an agreement in this regard with Skyline Chief Executive Officer Basheer Al-Haq.
The signing ceremony was put under the patronage of RCO board of Trustees’ Chairman Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, who paid tribute to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa, RCO Honorary Chairman, hailing his keenness on supporting the charity organisatiion to ensure its affiliates decent living conditions.
He paid homage to His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister for their support, extending thanks to the people of Bahrain for backing RCO development and humanitarian schemes.
“RCO-funded charity and development projects follow royal directives to improve living conditions of affiliated families and all needy social categories”, he said, stressing the importance of the schemes in diversifying RCO financial resources.
RCO secretary-general Dr. Mustapha Al-Sayyed also paid tribute to HM the King and Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al-Khalifa for their support. The twenty-two storey twin investment towers will be constructed near the headquarters of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Beit Al-Tejjar). Proceeds of the charity investment scheme will benefit the RCO-affiliated needy families. -BNA
