RAK Properties organizes emirate’s first ever food festival

UAE-  RAK Properties PJSC, Ras Al Khaimah’s (RAK) biggest property developer listed on the Abu Dhabi Stock Exchange, is set to host the Julphar Avenue Food Festival, the emirate’s first ever food festival, from May 29 to May 30, 2014 at the Julphar Towers, located right in the heart of the city. The festival will feature the finest cuisine coming from the UAE’s best restaurants in an effort to entice the public with fantastic infusions of flavor.

According to RAK Properties senior executives, there remains a major gap in the emirate’s fine dining segment, wherein there is a noticeable lack of venues for Spanish, French, Italian, Chinese and Arabic cuisine. With this in mind, the developer is organizing the two-day food festival to bring together a fantastic collage of restaurants for the public to enjoy and at the same time, become accustomed to. Participating restaurants will be able to interact with the expected footfall of over 1,000 visitors—allowing them to conduct market research and promote their restaurant brand across RAK locals.

Mohammed Sultan Al Qadi, CEO, RAK Properties, said, “The Julphar Avenue Food Festival is an excellent venue for restaurants to realize the potential market that Ras Al Khaimah offers. Being the first festival of its kind, people of the emirate are excited to see this happen—witnessing some of the country’s leading fine dining brands gather in the heart of the city to showcase their delicious cuisine. We are confident that this food festival will result in the creation of a vibrant and exciting platform of culinary delights for the whole public to enjoy.”

RAK Properties has revealed that they will provide participating food establishments with the essential tools to access the emirate’s market dynamics. The leading property group will also promote the event throughout the UAE via different advertising mediums. In addition, RAK Properties will also be offering its exquisite vendors space located free of charge to set up the stands of participating restaurants in Julphar Avenue.
