Mohammed Bin Rashid School of Government explores collaboration with Montenegro

DUBAI – Mohammed Bin Rashid School of Government (MBRSG), a research and teaching institution focusing on public policy in the Arab world, explored opportunities for collaboration with Montenegro during the visit of Dr Jovan Kojičić, Advisor to the Prime Minister of the south east European country.

938f14a4ab6afe2d_org938f14a4ab6afe2d_orgDuring his visit, Dr Kojičić met with Dr Ali Sebaa Al Marri, Executive President of MBRSG, and faculty members leading the training and executive education programs at MBRSG.

The visit aimed to strengthen cooperation between Montenegro and the Mohammed Bin Rashid School of Government in the areas of training, education and development programs. Dr Jovan Kojičić also hoped Montenegro could benefit from MBRSG’s experience in developing leadership skills and government competencies.

Dr Ali Sebaa Al Marri said: “Mohammed Bin Rashid School of Government works continuously towards showcasing the UAE as a successful model in administration and leadership. This model is ranked first for government efficiency excellence in the World Competitiveness Report 2014. We look forward to sharing our academic experience with Montenegro and widen our understanding of European public policy.”

Dr Jovan Kojičić, Advisor to Montenegro’s Prime Minister, said: “Montenegro is a developing country. We seek to establish collaborative partnerships with different countries around the world and work resolutely towards building efficiencies across various administrative bodies in our own country. Given this priority, we are keen to establish long term collaboration with MBRSG, and are confident that Montenegro, like the UAE, will achieve high rankings in global indices that reflect excellence in social and economic sectors.”

The Mohammed Bin Rashid School of Government is committed to promoting good governance through enhancing the region’s capacity for effective public policy. The school uses a four-pronged approach, which includes applied research in public policy and management, academic programs in public policy and administration, executive education programs and knowledge forums for scholars and policy makers.
