RIYADH- The Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has been awarded the Middle East Prize for Excellence for Government Electronic Services at the annual ceremony held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE), by the Middle East Prize institute for Excellence as the best government body to provide achievements, initiatives and practices to further develop electronic transfer strategies.
The prize was given away to Sultan bin Mohammed Al-Sayyar, the Director general of the Information Center at the ministry, on the sidelines of the 20th conference on Governance and Electronic Services in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Arab States which was recently organized at Dubai International Financial Center with the participation of a host of renowned organizations, government institutions and private enterprises from inside and outside the UAE.-SPA
