Kuwait to host AOAD meeting on Tuesday

KUWAIT, May 12 (KUNA) — The Public Authority for Agriculture and Fish Resources (PAAFR) will host on Tuesday(May 13th) the 33rd session of the Arab Organization for Agricultural Development (AOAD) which will last until May 14.

Most prominent topics on the agenda include an Arab agricultural development strategy, the organization’s plan of action 2015-2016, and the first phase of the emergency program for Arab food security, Director of Public Relations in the PAAFR Shakir Awadh said in a press statement.
The conferees will also review the Arab agricultural development program for 2013, Awadh added.

The organization’s meeting will be attended by Minister of Oil and Minister of State for National Assembly Affairs Ali Saleh Al-Omair, PAAFR Chairman and Director General Jassim Mohammad Habib Al-Bader, and a number of Arab agriculture ministers.-KUNA
