KUWAIT- Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research (KISR) and a visting Saudi delegation from King Abdullah City for Atomic and Renewable Energy (KACARE) discussed here on Monday future joint cooperation in renewable energy.
Saudi Arabia is one of the most important countries that the institute seeks to strengthen relations with, due to the similarity of climate and environmental problems which both sides are working to solve, Al-Mutairi added.
KACARE has future plans and goals in the atomic and renewable energy, while the KISR has been acting as a scientific advisory in the region since the sixties, representative of the Saudi delegation Dr. Maher Al-Adwan said.
Such a meeting aims to strengthen relations between the two countries and exchange experiences and information in this field, he added.
During the meeting, both sides agreed to establish a shared workshop and lectures between the two sides to exchange experience, and to discuss future cooperation between them in the field of renewable energy.-KUNA
