KSA and Egypt sign two agreements on bilateral trade cooperation support 

CAIRO- The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Arab Republic of Egypt have signed two agreements on joint cooperation in the areas of specifications, quality and mutual recognition of conformity certificates, Flag-Pins-Saudi-Arabia-Egyptin order to facilitate and promote joint trade and technical cooperation between the two countries in the field of transfer of expertise and knowledge relating to standardization, application of standards, technical regulations and conformity assessment procedures.

The agreements were signed by Deputy Governor of Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization, Engineer Fawzi Hakim from the Saudi side and President of the Egyptian General Authority for Standards and Quality, Dr. Hassan Abdulmajeed and Chairman of Board of Directors of the Department of General Authority for Export & Imports Control, Engineer Mohamed Alaa El Din Abdul Karim.

In a statement ,Dr. Hakim stressed the Organization’s keenness on supporting ways of joint cooperation with the Egyptian authorities and bodies, including contributing to the flow of trade movement between the two countries.-SPA
