The competition is open to Qatari nationals from age 10 to 16 years. Each team should comprise eight members besides the ship captain, (Al Nokhitha), boatswain mate (Al Majdami) and diver attendant (Arathif), contest organisers said.
Participants at the competition need to pass swimming and fitness tests.
