SHARJAH – A top delegation from Hamriyah Free Zone Authority (HFZA) will participate in the world’s largest international maritime trade fair- Shipbuilding, Machinery, and Marine Technology (SMM) Exhibition, from September 9th to 12th at the Messe Congress exhibition centre in Hamburg.
The HFZA delegation, led by Saud Al Mazrouei, Director of Hamriyah Free Zone Authority (HFZA), will exhibit HFZA’s portfolio and explain to the global maritime sector the many incentives that the free zone has to offer for their business to grow and expand in the zone.
“As the world’s largest international maritime trade fair, SMM 2014 will showcase all aspects of maritime innovation and technology and it is an ideal platform for us to see the latest innovations in the maritime sector and attract new investors to our region” Al Mazrouei added.
“The objective of the mission is to promote the know-how of HFZA’s maritime industry and its strategic location to the global audience. In addition, the event provides numerous opportunities to chart new plans and innovative ideas. The fair will be a perfect stage to discover more prospects to boost the maritime sector further” he added.
Currently, a number of international companies like Lamprell Energy Ltd, Damen Shipyards Sharjah FZE, Adams Ship Buildings & Repairs FZE, Diver Shipping & Cargo and Ship Maintenance , Linden Shipping International, Thoresen Shipping FZE, Whitesea Shipping & Supply , E-Marine, Ocean Oilfield Drilling Rigs & Marine Engg. Services FZC, Seajacks Marine Project FZE, Rigs & Marine Holdings and many others operate from Hamriyah Free Zone.
“As the event expects over 50,000 visitors and 2100 companies from 62 countries, we expect a diverse range of exposure for us to a broad spectrum of clients, ship owners, and potential clients”, Al Mazrouei added.
