KUWAIT-The GCC Industry and Commerce Ministers will convene tomorrow (May14) for their 38th meeting in Kuwait. GCC Assistant Secretary-General for Economic Affairs Abdulla bin Jumaa Al-Shably said that the issues on the agenda of the industrial cooperation committee would be discussed.
In a statement today, he cited key topics which would be the focus of the session, particularly knowledge-based economy and the mechanisms to upgrade the industrial sector and bolster joint economic work. A project to set up a series of national industrial incubators in each member state will also be discussed, along with the results and recommendations of the 14th GCC Industrialists’ Conference.-BNA
