Abu Dhabi: With the opening of Abu Dhabi University’s (ADU) Dubai campus, which has started accepting enrolment applications for academic year 2017-2018, professionals looking to do post-graduate programs can now have an international option close to home. The new campus based in Dubai Knowledge Park offers nationally and internationally accredited master’s degree programs in law, business and engineering, tailored to meet the dynamic demands of both local and regional communities

The academic programs offered by the new Dubai campus include Master of Education in Leadership, Master of Science in Special Education, Professional Graduate Diploma in Teaching, Master of Public Law, Master of Private Law, Dual Executive Master and Doctor of Business Administration, Master of Strategic Leadership, Master of Engineering Management, Master of Project Management, Master of Science in Sustainable Architecture, and Master of Information Technology.

His Excellency Ali Saeed Bin Harmal Al Dhaheri, Chairman of Abu Dhabi University’s Executive Board, said: “Opening admissions to Abu Dhabi University’s new campus in Dubai will reshape the landscape of post-graduate studies in the UAE. Given the fact that ADU and its masters programs have earned both national and international accreditations and accolades, students will no more have to travel abroad or interrupt their professional commitments in order to pursue a world-class post-graduate degree. Now, not only do students have the option to acquire a globally recognized certificate while still residing at home, but they can also choose from a diverse range of programs covering management, engineering, law and education.”

Al Dhaheri added: “Over the past years, ADU and its colleges have earned several international accreditations including EQUIS accreditation for all undergraduate, and postgraduate programs of College of Business Administration making ADU the first and only higher education institution in the Middle East to receive this accreditation.  The University had also earned in 2015 institutional recognition and international accreditation from the Western Association of Schools and Colleges: Senior College and University Commission (WSCUC) in the United States.”

The launch of the new ADU campus based in Dubai Knowledge Park comes after conducting intensive studies that identified the current and future requirements of the labor market as well as the growing demand for high-quality higher education and postgraduate programs in important disciplines through the 13 post graduate programs that is in offering.

The University currently has about 7,000 students from 70 nationalities studying in its Abu Dhabi and Al Ain campuses. It offers 44 internationally accredited programs including 29 undergraduate programs and 15 postgraduate programs. Additionally, its 12,000 alumni work in different sectors in the UAE and abroad.
