ENOC Group Launches Leadership Development Programme to Empower Emirati Talent

Dubai, UAE: ENOC Group, a leading global energy player, has unveiled the latest edition of its Leadership Development Programme, aimed at nurturing and refining the skills of 44 Emirati talents. This initiative underscores ENOC’s commitment to excellence and aligns with the UAE Government’s Emiratisation strategy.

The newly introduced LeaderSHIFT and LevelUP programmes, both part of the ENOC Leadership Development Programme, are designed to foster continuous improvement and innovation in the UAE’s dynamic energy sector. Over the next nine months, these initiatives will enhance the leadership capabilities of selected Emirati employees, driving the Group’s collective skills and competencies forward.

Programme Details:

  • Participant Selection: ENOC conducted a meticulous evaluation process to select 22 participants for each of the two programmes, involving a committee representing various business units and departments.
  • Educational Leadership: Partnering with Emeritus, a leading digital learning provider, the programmes will offer strategic projects, educational trips, and group activities. Participants will gain insights from world-renowned industry experts and thought leaders.
  • Skills Enhancement: The programmes will bolster the Group’s collective skills and competencies, preparing employees to lead strategic initiatives and drive industry advancements.

Commitment to Emiratisation:

ENOC’s leadership initiative is in line with its Emiratisation efforts. The Group has achieved 100% Emiratisation at the executive management level, 81% at senior management, and 52% across the organization. His Excellency Saif Humaid Al Falasi, Group CEO of ENOC, highlighted the significance of this initiative: “Leadership development is integral to ENOC’s strategic vision, positioning our organization for long-term success. Investing in Emirati talent and cultivating the next generation of leaders is a key pillar of our growth strategy. By equipping our employees with the mindset and expertise to maximize their potential, we aim to enhance our ability to innovate, adapt, and elevate ENOC as a frontrunner in delivering sustainable and integrated energy solutions.”

Previous Initiatives:

Last year, ENOC launched a similar leadership programme in collaboration with Ashridge Executive Education at Hult International Business School, benefiting 26 Emirati professionals. The programme focused on developing leadership skills, exploring new collaboration methods, and enhancing resilience and adaptability. Participants also engaged in an international educational trip to acquire global best practices in leadership, enriching their experiences and increasing their leadership expertise.

ENOC’s Leadership Development Programme aims to generate sustainable value in the energy sector, supporting the strategic objectives of Dubai and the broader UAE.
