Emirates NBD Joins Forces with Dubai FinTech Summit to Propel Financial Innovation

Dubai: Emirates NBD, prominent banking group in the MENAT (Middle East, North Africa, and Türkiye) region, is gearing up to make a significant impact at the upcoming second edition of the Dubai FinTech Summit (DFS) as the Founding Partner and Premium Banking Partner. The event is scheduled to take place on May 6 and 7, 2024, at Madinat Jumeirah, Dubai.

As a leader in digital banking in the region, Emirates NBD aims to spearhead innovation and transformative change in the financial sector. The bank plans to engage attendees with a series of captivating activities and activations, including three headline sessions featuring senior leaders from the bank, exclusive panel discussions at its pavilion, and interactive showcases of cutting-edge products and innovations.

Moreover, Emirates NBD will set up a live podcast studio featuring episodes with its leaders, fintech innovators, and entrepreneurs from the National Digital Talent Incubator, offering valuable insights into the industry.

Emirates NBD has a strong track record of pioneering first-to-market innovations and digital-first banking solutions aimed at simplifying banking processes. At the Dubai FinTech Summit, the bank intends to forge key collaborations and partnership agreements to further drive innovation in the sector.

Organized by the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), the leading global financial hub in the MEASA (Middle East, Africa, and South Asia) region, the Summit is expected to host over 8,000 decision-makers, 300 thought leaders, and 200 exhibitors, providing a platform to explore the latest innovations and technologies.

Marwan Hadi, Group Head of Retail Banking and Wealth Management at Emirates NBD, emphasized the bank’s commitment to staying at the forefront of innovation, aligned with Dubai’s Economic Agenda’s vision to position the city as a top global financial hub by 2033.

Miguel Rio Tinto, Group Chief Digital and Information Officer at Emirates NBD, highlighted the bank’s role in fostering the development of the FinTech ecosystem in the region and the transformative potential of technology in driving growth and innovation in the financial industry.
