DAFZA to showcase ‘Smart Solutions’ at INDEX 2014

DUBAI- Dubai Airport Freezone Authority (DAFZA) will be highlighting its smart solutions for tenants during its participation at the 13th International Design Exhibition (INDEX), taking place from 19-22 May, 2014 in Dubai International Exhibition Centre. With 85% of exhibiting companies headquartered from outside the GCC, the Freezone aims to attract international investors by offering integrated business solutions and world class facilities.

DAFZA offers its tenants a unique turn-key solution that insures an easy setup process and includes conceptual interior design, space planning, perspective drawings, furniture, material selection, budget analysis and proposals besides technical support for the Freezone’s tenants in respect to corporate image, company requirements and guide lines. The service also ensures that all approvals are received in less time at no additional charges, and that all the processes are in compliance with the UAE’s health and safety standards.

“We are confident in our decision to showcase our services and facilities, making business operations hassle-free. DAFZA considers INDEX a high profile event with a reputation that precedes it, gaining momentum year after year. With exhibitors from around the world, we’re able to increase the number of tenants currently operating out of the Freezone and broaden our sector profile,” said Jamal Bin Marghoob, Director of the Marketing & Corporate Communications Department at DAFZA.

In addition to its unique turn-key solution, DAFZA is transforming into a wireless smart city, a pioneering move in the region to integrate free WiFi connectivity and smart services in its territory. DAZFA’s step to transform into a smart free zone comes to support the vision of His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai to transform Dubai into a “Smart City”, to link the government services and the public through the use of smart devices accessed freely using high-speed wireless internet connections.

The Freezone continuously offers its tenants with ‘smart solutions’ to ensure hassle-free operations. Tenants can download the DAFZA app and access more than 120 services without having to interrupt their business day, reaping the benefits of interconnectivity with a database of over 1600 companies at their disposal.
