Black and white themed Art of Circus sprinkles colors of joy at Reef Mall

DUBAI- Giving the colorful costumes a break, the roaming performers of Art of Circus have donned an enticing monochrome look this Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS) to offer visitors and residents from around the world a fun-filled roaming spectacle.

A group of talented Polish circus artists have been trawling the walkaways of Reef Mall to delight and surprise shoppers and their families offering them the festival’s signature treat of entertaining circus acts, without which the DSS celebrations would be rather incomplete.

The troupe comprises jugglers, unicyclists, stilt-walkers, clowns and more who are showcasing their unique attention-grabbing talents to bring a smile on the faces of countless families looking for the perfect DSS bargains.

Attracted by the unique black and white theme of the circus performers, which is inspired by a retro circus look, shoppers were magnetized to watch the entertaining mix of daring and comical acts.

The festive music further added to the euphoric atmosphere at the mall. Shoppers whether young or old were equally mesmerized by the uniqueness of the roaming act and missed no opportunity to strike a pose with the performers.

For Atirah, an eight-year old British kid, the performance was her first circus act ever. Amazed by the breath-taking stunts, she said, “I loved the act. The performers were funny and they performed exceptionally well. It’s my first time to watch a circus show and I am taking home great memories.”

Another young visitor called Iyas, an eleven-year old Austrian kid enjoyed the act with his family. He too relished every bit of the visual treat. “Their animated faces and their beautiful make-up and costumes are very interesting. I loved the performers on stilts because they were amazing. Each one of them is wonderful. My brother and I were very surprised to see an act like this at the mall because usually we see them on the streets but yes, it was an enjoyable experience,” he said.

As a part of the DSS celebration, The Art of Circus will continue to wow mall-goers with their fabulous performances until 24 August at Reef Mall. Shoppers can join the fun at 5pm, 7:30pm and 9:30pm daily.

The 17th edition of DSS  will run until 5 September this year, under the theme, “The Fun Side of Summer.”
