Ajman: Ajman University (AU), committed to vulnerable people, has offered quality diagnostic and treatment dental services
to 257 patients over the last four months in three emirates.
Records show that the competent and well-trained dental students and faculty at the AU College of Dentistry spent 619 volunteer hours during the first semester offering free yet quality dental services to eligible patients in the emirates of Ajman, Sharjah and Ras Al Khaimah.
However, the Clinic is giving more attention to the elderly and determined people, along with school students and residents of remote areas, particularly in northern emirates.
The sophisticated clinic, manufactured and accustomed by the Scientific Company for Industries, offers free treatment to more than 500 patients on a daily basis.
The two-unit clinic, fully equipped with the latest gadgets; spanning an X-ray machine and a sterilization device, have been jointly funded by the Ajmani Charity Foundation and Human Appeal International.
