Dubai: Arabian Travel Market 2024 (ATM) is back next week, promising an engaging platform for over 41,000 attendees. The event, scheduled from May 6 to May 9, 2024, at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC), will highlight the theme ‘Empowering Innovation: Transforming Travel Through Entrepreneurship’.
ATM’s strategic partners, including the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET), Emirates, IHG Hotels & Resorts, and Al Rais Travel, are gearing up to offer insights into what attendees can expect at the 31st edition of the travel and tourism showcase.
This year’s event is set to feature over 2,300 exhibitors from more than 165 countries, with new destinations like China, Macao, Kenya, Guatemala, and Columbia making their debut. The lineup includes established brands and startups, emphasizing how innovators are reshaping the industry toward a net-zero future.
Danielle Curtis, Exhibition Director ME, Arabian Travel Market, expressed excitement about the event’s lineup, which includes two stages – the Global Stage and the new Future Stage. The agenda will address emerging trends driving growth in the travel and tourism sector.
The ATM 2024 will also introduce a new Entrepreneurship-focused summit, spotlighting the role of travel startups in the Middle East economy. Additionally, the ATM Start-Up Pitch Battle, in partnership with Emirates Group’s Intelak, will provide a platform for innovators to showcase their industry solutions.
ATM 2024 will emphasize environmental responsibility, building on last year’s theme ‘Working Towards Net Zero’. The event aims to explore how innovation can contribute to achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in the travel and tourism sector.
Key industry players, including Emirates and IHG Hotels & Resorts, are excited about the event’s potential to drive growth and showcase sustainable practices. Mohamed Al Rais, Executive Director of Al Rais Travel, highlighted ATM 2024 as a beacon of progress and possibility in the travel industry.
ATM 2024, held in conjunction with Dubai World Trade Centre, boasts strategic partnerships with DET, Emirates, IHG Hotels & Resorts, and Al Rais Travel.
