CAIRO- Arab League Secretary General Dr. Nabil Al Arabi will visit the UAE to take part in the UN high-profile ministerial meeting in Abu Dhabi on May 4 and 5, the Arab League Secretariat General announced.
The meeting aims to boost cooperation to enforce practical solutions to handle climate change and encourage effective proposals to be discussed at a summit on climate change which will be hosted by New York on September 23, prior to the UN Secretariat General’s meetings.
The Arab League Secretary General will hold talks with UN Chief Ban Ki-moon on the latest developments in Syria and the Palestinian-Israeli negotiations. He will, then, head to Athens to take part in the Arab-European meeting hosted by Greece. He will hold talks with the Greek President, Prime Minister and Foreign Minister on relations between the Arab countries, Greece and Europe.-BNA
