An educational and inspirational experience highlights the agenda of Ramadan Forum

Children's Hall 1DUBAI-The comprehensive line-up of activities and events held as part of the 13th edition of the Ramadan Forum at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) is offering a complete family experience for both the residents and visitors of Dubai. While the parents are making the most of the inspirational lectures, the children are teaming up with their new friends to enjoy a series of fun games and educational activities in the Children’s Hall.

From face painting, drawing and coloring to an array of interactive games and recreational opportunities, the hall is bustling with activity as kids participate in a variety of constructive learning programs, under the supervision of a trained female crew.

Children's Hall 3Also hosted in the Children’s Hall, the ‘Smart’ campaign is aimed at raising awareness on children’s health especially during the month of Ramadan. Sponsored by the Majid Al Futtaim Charity Foundation, the campaign offers a unique learning experience for children of all ages, designed around an educational format, featuring the popular character ‘Nasheet’.

Nadia Ghenia, Healthcare Coordinator at the Majid Al Futtaim Charity Foundation, said, “The campaign is organized into three phases. In the first phase, children can use their creative skills to color ‘Nasheet’ on templates that offer health-related messages about healthy eating and the importance of physical activity through fun ways. In the second phase, we distribute fruits, with the objective of teaching them about the benefits of these basic nutritional foods. Finally, in the third stage, we target obese children and their parents, record their weights and finally educate them about their Body Mass Index.”

Children's Hall 2The 13th annual Ramadan Forum is organized by the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) and is being held under the patronage of H.H.
